We are looking for a Door To Door Sales Rep. for the Anne Arundel County area. The expectation is to inspect roofs, get contracts signed, and handle the claim process. Having your own vehicle with a ladder is a plus, but a company vehicle can be negotiated if necessary. Compensation will be commission based, with a negotiable draw to get started. We offer a top commission for the industry and it is negotiable. Requirements: Must be able to legally work in the United States. This position requires you to meet with and educate potential candidates for insurance claims. Self-starting and entrepreneurial mindset. Highly developed organizational and communication skills. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify potential customers through effective prospecting and marketing activities
• Perform in-home presentations and convert prospects into actual sales through effective closing techniques
• Develop and maintain homeowner relationships with a focus on creating a consistent customer experience to generate business referrals and repeat business
• Act as the primary contact for customers throughout their project and provide a first-class customer experience to ensure we meet and exceed their expectations
• Identify market trends, maintain awareness of competitive activity in the residential roofing industry, and strategically manage sales activities to correspond to those elements
• Perform roof inspections and understand customer needs to recommend the best product for their home
• Work as an integral part of the in-house estimating staff to create and provide customers with detailed and accurate roof measurements, estimates, and proposals
• Provide roofing information - price, quality, point of sales material
• Resolve customer concerns, orders, and inquiries
• Record customer sales activity using proprietary customer relationship management technology
Job Qualifications:
REQUIRED
• Minimum of two years successful outside sales /account management experience
• Previous roofing or construction industry experience
• Proficient in taking measurements
• Possess Customer Care focus and have ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Customer-Centric: Be available to take care of customer needs, which may require evening calls or meetings as needed to accommodate customer schedules
• Gregarious and outgoing personality capable of engaging potential customers and effectively presenting products and services to customers to fit their needs
• Positive attitude, creative
• Strong time management and organization skills to remain focused and organized while managing a productive schedule
